Where's my activation email?
Activation emails usually arrive within a minute of payment. If it's been longer, here's the order to check things.
1. Confirm payment actually went through
Check your inbox for our receipt email (subject: "Receipt for order #..."). If the receipt is there, the payment landed and your SIM is on its way — the activation email follows within ~30 seconds.
If the receipt isn't there either, the payment may have failed silently. Open esimple.ai/account and check whether the order appears. If not, the charge didn't complete and no money was taken — try again, or contact support@esimple.ai.
2. Check spam / promotions / updates
The activation email comes from no-reply@send.esimple.ai. Gmail in particular sometimes sorts it into the Promotions or Updates tab. Search your inbox for "esimple" or "activation" — that's the fastest way to find it across folders.
3. Check the right inbox
If you sent the eSIM as a gift to someone else (or to a different email of yours), the activation email goes to the recipient's email, not the buyer's. Only the receipt goes to the buyer.
Open esimple.ai/account → tap the order → the recipient email is shown under each line.
4. Look at your account dashboard
Your account shows every order plus per-SIM activation details — QR code, SM-DP+ address, activation code. If the SIM has been provisioned but the email didn't arrive, you can install directly from the account page.
If the order shows "Provisioning" rather than "Active", the SIM is still being allocated. This usually finishes within a minute but can take up to two minutes during heavy traffic. Refresh the page after that.
5. Still nothing?
Email support@esimple.ai with:
- Your order reference (the
pi_…ID on your receipt). - The email address you bought with.
- The email address the SIM should ship to (if different).
We can resend the activation email manually, and if there's been a provisioning failure we'll either retry or refund.
